Good things to note:
We prefer you contact us through text, email or facebook messenger. This is because it allows us to easily keep written, accessible documentation of what you want, including giving us exact spelling when it comes to messages. It also gives us time to make sure you fit into our schedule, that the decorator can execute your request, and compile a complete costed out quote for you without having to keep you on hold forever. However, we understand that typing and technology aren't everybody's forte, and if you feel more comfortable giving us a call we don't mind at all! Please understand that you may have to leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we are available.
If you are looking for a specific colour scheme it is highly recommended that you provide us with with an image of your chosen colours. A pink cake could mean a vibrant hot pink, a sophisticated blush, a happy bubblegum, a deep coral or an infinite other possibilities. If you provide us with an image we can guarantee you will be getting what you were picturing in your mind. No one wants a lime coloured cake to show up at their emerald themed wedding.
If you are having a message written on your cake please be specific with your spelling. Some people want their cake to say "Happee Birthdae Harry", and not "Happy Birthday Harry". So make sure you spell your message EXACTLY as you would like us to print it; if you spell something abnormally we're liable to assume you wanted it spelled abnormally on your cake.
The more extravagant your order, the more notice we will need. We do not necessarily require notice, if you text us in the morning and want a dozen cupcakes delivered that night and we can fit you in, we will. That doesn't mean we always can fit you in though. Some cakes require we make sugar pieces days ahead so that they have time to stiffen before being put on a cake, and at certain times of the year we end up with enough orders we simply can't take anymore. So if you have your heart set on something from us for your event, please give us as much notice as possible so we can guarantee you will be our first priority when that day comes.
Our cakes are okay out at room temperature for a day unless they contain any whipped or custard fillings, in which case keeping them chilled is recommended. However, if it is a hot day, or you leave any cake in the direct sun, you risk your frosting or fondant melting and loosing its shape. So please use common sense! If its the summer and you don't have air conditioning, keep it refrigerated. If you don't have the room to keep a cake in your fridge than make sure you schedule a delivery time close to when you plan on serving your cake.
